A few weeks ago, we shared the results of our customer survey, where you all so kindly shared your thoughts about Puzzle Bomb as we look for ways to serve you better. We'd been considering the idea of a puzzle subscription for quite some time, and you all confirmed this was a great path forward. We always want to be on this journey with you, so thank you for chiming in!
The Blessings and Curse of Crowdfunding
We also shared early this year why crowdfunding was super helpful for Puzzle Bomb, and crowdfunding was certainly key in helping us get to where we are today. We sincerely appreciate all of you who joined us in that journey in getting us to today!
The problem: While crowdfunding is good for us, we can't shake the reality that it's not ideal for you. Crowdfunding is admittedly a bit frustrating from a customer perspective, requiring you to jump through a bunch of hurdles to complete a purchase. It's also super confusing for folks who aren't already familiar with crowdfunding. We want to get you our puzzle creations:
1) Early, at the best possible price.
2) As easily as possible!
Crowdfunding is good for #1, but absolutely terrible for #2.
More Than Just a Subscription Service!
A subscription service absolutely solves for #2, as it can't get any easier than puzzles automatically arriving at your doorstep! What was a two to three step process of jumping through crowdfunding hoops, and required you to pay close attention to not miss a puzzle, now becomes automatic. And, rather than twiddling your thumbs waiting for a project to fulfill, your mail simply surprises you with puzzles!
Furthermore, due to the predictability of a subscription service vs. the up and down nature of crowdfunding, we also plan to offer the subscription at a heftier discount than crowdfunding allowed.
But, we want to go above and beyond for you, especially as our Puzzle Bomb founding members and family!
